This November, IWIN’s fourth global art call takes shape across more than 30 cities worldwide. From San Francisco to Berlin, women and allies are joining forces to turn shared pain into shared action—using red shoes as a universal symbol to demand an end to violence against women. As installations rise across continents, IWIN continues building spaces for dialogue, creativity, and change.

This October, IWIN marks its 10th anniversary with a unique outdoor celebration in Golden Gate Park. From quilts to interactive art stations, music, and an artisan market, we gather to honor ten years of creativity and community—and to look ahead to the next chapter of empowering women through art.

August opened with the launch of our global Red Shoes campaign—25 red shoes in 25+ cities to honor women silenced by violence.

Creating Through the Chaos
In a world torn by war, we choose to create with love. This July, amidst growing grief and division, we launched Listening Circle—a safe space in Farsi where our community can simply be heard. From honoring refugees and cancer survivors to gathering with Afghan women and girls, each IWIN program became a thread of resilience and connection. In these uncertain times, we keep showing up—with open hearts and creative hands.
